T-Prox^™ is a dual technology access control reader which combines an Essex Thinline 2×6 Keypad with HID 125kHz Proximity. T-Prox is designed to interface with an OEM Access control panel. T-Prox transmits 125kHz Wiegand data (up to 91 bits) from the card reader and can be configured in the field to provide the following Industry Standard Outputs:

For areas with low ambient lighting, the Illuminated Spy Proof Housing provides cool blue illumination and serves to limit the view of an unwelcome onlooker. Available exclusively for the Essex 12 pad 3×4 Keypad or Hand-E-Tap^® Access Switch, the Illuminated Spy Proof Housing requires a 5 or 12-volt independent power supply. (Power supply not included) The Stainless Steel Spyproof Housing is also available in a nonilluminated version.
